Our Story

Established on August 31, 1978, Asuransi Rama Satria Wibawa has been one of the pioneers in Indonesia's general insurance industry. At a time when the number of general insurance companies was still limited, Asuransi Rama emerged with a vision to provide reliable and comprehensive protection for individuals and businesses across Indonesia.

The company was originally founded under the name PT Asuransi Surabaya Indah Jaya, based on Notarial Deed No. 195 by Soetjipto S.H. and was officially recognized by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia on November 4, 1978, under decree No. Y.A 5/343/1. As part of its commitment to growth and service excellence, the company officially changed its name to PT Asuransi Rama Satria Wibawa on January 21st,1984. This transformation was documented in Notarial Deed No. 84 by Mutia Haryani S.H. and approved under the Minister of Justice Decree No. C2-1346-HT.01.04 of 1984.
